By car
The easiest route by car is via the A149 from either the Holt or Cromer direction. Follow signs to Sheringham and take the A1082 (Holway Road). Travel for approximately 1 mile and you will see a roundabout directly ahead. Take the last road on the right before the roundabout. This is Alexandra Road. Alton House can be found halfway down on the right. There is no signage. The house is number 6.

The nearest train station is Sheringham. It is a 2-minute walk to Alton House – as you leave the train station turn left. Cross the Cromer Road and continue along Holway Road. Alexandra Road is the first road on the left. Alton House (No. 6) can be found halfway down on the right.
